How to Seal a Leaky Shower

If your shower or bath is not correctly sealed, you may have water leaks at these exposed seams. It's easy to seal these leaks with TEC-7 , thereby fixing theTEC71 problem and preventing further water damage.

  • 1. Dry out your shower or tub completely. Do not use for at least 2 days. You'll need to use a different bath for these 2 days.

  • 2. Clean the bath and shower surfaces thoroughly, removing any hair, mold or shower scum near the seams you will be sealing.

    3. Cut the TEC-7 applicator opening on a 45-degree angle to get the best angle for sealing. Squeeze the TEC-7 evenly into the faulty seams.

  • 4. Remove the excess TEC-7 with your finger while also smoothing the surface. It helps to wet you finger in soapy water to get the best result.
  • 5. Let the TEC-7 dry for 12 hours.
  • TEC-7 is available in White, Black, Brown, Gray, Clear, Ivery and the NEW tec7_101Stainless Steel finnish.
