Give your Wardrobe A New Lease Of Life

By Giving It A Lick Of Paint

Top tip: When painting your wardrobe doors, paint the doors open and then again with them closed to make sure you don’t miss any bits.

 – Remove all handles from doors and drawers

 – Tape up any surfaces you do not wish to paint

 – Wash all surfaces with sugar soap to ensure they are clean and free from dust, dirt and grease

 – Make sure you dry all surfaces in preparation for sanding

 – Lightly sand the surface with fine sandpaper this gives the paint a great chance to grip the surface

 – Make sure you wipe down with a wet cloth to ensure the surface is now completely clean and dry

 – Apply your paint primer and leave to dry

 – Once your primer has fully dried start off painting the edges first and work your way to the middle

 – Apply second coat if needed
